Important Information Must you attend? No you do not -- many of our clients are from out of state and cannot attend. If you will not be present at the inspection, you must receive, sign and return to us, a state required contract, prior to performance of the inspection. Arrange for faxing or emailing of the contract when you place your order.
May you attend the inspection? Yes, we encourage our clients to attend the inspection. We feel that there is no better way for you to familiarize yourself with the house and our inspection process than by being present.
How can you pay? Home pro requires payment prior to completion of the inspection either by personal check, cash, Visa or Master Card.
How do you get the report? We provide several options: 1) The preferred method for many of our clients is to have their completed report emailed (you can print out or forward as many colored copies as you wish). 2) We can provide a single hard copy (printed on site, in black and white). The hard copy can handed to you at the site or mailed to you.
Tell me about the report. Each inspection report is a minimum of 16 computer generated document pages with an additional 6 pages of state required information plus another 3 to 6 pages of Structural Pest (Pest and Dryrot) inspection report. The General Report can be printed or mailed the same day, but the Structural Pest report often requires additional preparation and will either be mailed or emailed the following day.
Reports may include photographs, if in the inspectors opinion, the photo will be helpful. Photos can often clearly show only major discrepancies or conditions and therefore are usually unnecessary for the majority of situations. It is our opinion that nothing takes the place of personally viewing the situation or condition as we clearly explain possible options to best deal with it. If you are unable to attend the inspection, then a few photos may be the best option.
Our inspectors are very thorough and often include items that will be common or usual for a house of similar type and age. We do this because we do not know what is important to you. If we write it down, you will have to decide whether it is a concern or not. We will share our opinion if you ask, but the final decision is yours. View a sample report
